7-Year-Old Davis Boy Dies in Fall From Ski Lift
John Henderson was a member of the resort's ski team
A boy who fell 60 feet from a ski lift at Sugar Bowl Ski Resort Sunday has died.
The 7-year-old boy, John Henderson, was from Davis. He was a member of the resort’s ski team, according to the Reno Gazette Journal. They released this statement from Sugar Bowl:
The young skier fell off a chair lift on Mt. Lincoln onto a hard-packed surface that was not fully covered in snow. He was with two other young ski team members on the lift.

Henderson was wearing a helmet and was not a beginning skier. There were two other boys on the lift with him at the time.
