The driver of the Accura parked his car and came running back waving his arms to warn an approaching Dodge truck that the man was in the road. The truck came through at 55 mph and hit the man as well.

It’s not yet known whether Tanner had a lighting system or any reflectors. One possible piece of lighting was recovered at the scene, but it’s unknown whether it went on the front or rear of the bicycle, or if it was functional.
