Davis's Favorite Brunch Spot Is...
Cafe Bernardo, according to our poll. Do you have a different favorite?
According to a poll we posted earlier this week, is a favorite brunch spot among Davisites. The downtown location edged out for the top spot, taking 22 percent of the vote.
Owned by the Paragary family, Cafe Bernardo is actually two different eateries rolled into one: The side facing D Street incorporates sit-down table service and a full bar; the other, particularly popular side is counter service only, with many more tables and patio seating, as well as a few premade items for those on the go. Bernardo is a Wi-Fi hotspot that's a magnet for students.
