My Wife & I Try Sudwerk's Seasonal Doppel Bock (VIDEO)
Sudwerk is currently serving its seasonal Doppel Bock. My wife and I gave it a whirl.

I received this email from Sudwerk a few weeks ago asking if I'd like to provide some "tasting notes" on their seasonal Doppel Bock.
While I do enjoy quality beer, I don't believe I'm qualified to provide any sophisticated tasting notes. So, rather than write up a review, I decided instead to film the tasting session and let the real-time reactions speak for themselves.
In the (silly) video above, my wife and I taste the Doppel Bock during a snowy trip to Truckee, Calif. The beer is available at Sudwerk all winter if you'd like to try it yourself.
Note: The brew in this video was provided by Sudwerk. I want to make that clear.

I don't know if this qualifies for a Pulitzer, certainly not bad for your first ever news report on Doppel Bock. Personally, dark beer has always been my favorite brew & Sudwerk makes a mighty fine one.
Great job Bianca, you and Justin work well together on screen like Ron Burgundy and Veronica Corningstone. Looking fwd to the next one...

Calling us Burgundy & Corningstone is about the best compliment you could give, as far as I'm concerned. We had fun doing it. I was a bit shy about it at first, but now I don't think it'll be the last.
