Suspect Brandishes Loaded Shotgun During Argument Downtown
A 21-year-old was arrested early Friday morning after he showed a loaded shotgun during a verbal argument.
A 21-year-old Sacramento resident brandished a loaded shotgun during a verbal argument around 1:20 a.m. in Downtown Davis Friday, April 5, according to the Davis Police Department.
Demonte Kelly was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail for possession of a loaded firearm in public.

On April 5, 2013, at approximately 1:20 am, the Davis Police Department received a 9-1-1 call from the 200 block of G St reporting a male subject armed with a shotgun.
While officers were responding, the subject placed the shotgun into a vehicle and was still on scene. Officers arrived shortly after the call was placed and detained a male subject matching the description of the person seen carrying the shotgun. Through the course of the investigation, it was determined that the subject had retrieved the shotgun after a verbal argument with another individual.
