MISSING: UC Davis Student Linnea Lomax; Considered At Risk

UPDATE: Searches are ongoing in the Sacramento area for 19-year-old UC Davis student Linnea Lomax. Some of the search groups are affiliated with churches, while others just want to help. 

The following was posted on the Help Find Linnea Facebook page Thursday: "We are unbelievably blessed by everyone who has come out, volunteered their time, used their connections and resources to help us get to this point. Please continue praying and spreading the word." 

More than 2,000 people have liked the Facebook page, which has become a hub for communication in regard to the search. 

STORY: A 19-year-old UC Davis student went missing on Tuesday, according to Sacramento County Sheriff's Department. 

Linnea Lomax was last seen at about 1 p.m. Tuesday on the 800 block of Howe Avenue in Sacramento. Lomax's father told KCRA that his daughter had a nervous breakdown during finals. She was checked into Sutter Health psychiatric hospital, but was later released "on an outpatient basis," according to KCRA.

Her father said that she went for a walk and has not been seen since. 

A Facebook page has been launched in hopes of helping find Lomax.  

She is considered to be at-risk due to her disappearance being inconsistent with her normal behavior patterns, according to a Sheriff's Department release.

Police said Lomax is 5-feet, 2-inches tall and weighs about 100 lbs. She has long, blonde hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt and green pants.
