What Should Katehi Say to Protestors on Monday?

POLL: Will she communicate with protestors via the "people's mic?"

UC Davis’s chancellor said she will speak to protestors at the General Assembly on Monday, when thousands are expected to reoccupy the quad.

More than 47,000 have signed a petition for her resignation, but she said on CNN and at Saturday's press conference (before it was ) that she does not feel she should. Monday's scene is guaranteed to be tense and packed with emotion as Katehi aims to provide answers and address concerns. There are many questions as to what will happen. Among them:

  • Will police respond if, (actually, when) tents are erected?
  • If so, will there be a can of pepper spray in sight?
  • What will Katehi say to the protestors?
  • Will she communicate via the “people’s mic?
  • Will calls for resignation drive the conversation?

How do you think these questions will be answered. Or, how should they be answered.
