AJD Angels of Hope D.I.Y. Project and Project Bear at Davis Farmers Market on Saturdays and Wednesday Picnic in the Park

LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO DO? COME DOWN AT AJD ANGELS OF HOPE FOUNDATION BOOTH AT DAVIS FARMERS MARKET!

Last year, AJD Angels of Hope Foundation at ajdangelsofhope.org launched the “Arts in the Park” as part of our community service project as our relationship with UC Davis and our commitment to our students continue to grow while doing fundraising to help the children in poverty, subsequently it became a D.I.Y. Projects in the Park. You and your children can have a day of fun creating that special bonding making a Tie-Dye t-shirt, beading jewelry, painting, and even learn how to make origami. Also, for it’s 3rd year build a bear and sponsorship of “PROJECT BEAR” for kids with cancer is ongoing. Around 75 bears were donated to Vicente Sotto Children Ward Hospital in Cebu for the 1st year. (supposedly had an initial beneficiary for an event at Kaiser Permanente Cancer in Roseville). ”PROJECT BEAR” made it’s way when I went back to the Philippines in 2012 to celebrate our 1st anniversary, I was in tears to be there with dying children at Vicente Sotto Children Ward hospital.

Starting this Saturday, please help make a Valentine Cards for seniors in our community!Did you know depression and isolation affects more than 6.5 million Americans ages 65 and older? You can DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! Create a handmade Valentine card (we’ll help you!) and our friends at Meals On Wheels Association of America will HAND DELIVER THEM to local seniors!
