Davis Waste Removal offers free shredding for Davis residents April 27

Davis residents can clean out their home offices on April 27 at a free shredding event, courtesy of Davis Waste Removal, which contracts with the city for all of Davis’ garbage, recycling and green waste removal.

Davis Waste Removal is partnering with Absolute Secured Shredding of Sacramento to offer the service to residential customers from 9 a.m.-noon at the Davis Waste Removal office, 2727 Second Street, Davis. Limit is four 11”x14” file boxes or an equivalent amount. Customers may drop off their material or watch it be shredded.

“Tax season is over and spring cleaning season has arrived, so we wanted to give our customers the chance to clean out their home offices and get organized without laboring over a shredder for hours,” said John Geisler, Davis Waste Removal operations manager.
