First-Ever Davis Beer Week is Coming Aug. 19-25
The weeklong event will include Bike and Brew Fest on Aug. 24, a benefit for the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame in Davis.
Davis beer is having its day in the spotlight–actually, seven days.
de Vere's Irish Pub is hosting the first-ever Davis Beer Week next month, saying it will "attract beer tourism, foster knowledge of our regional brewing heritage and serve as a showcase for great beers, restaurants, pubs and other businesses with ties to the craft-beer community."
The event will be held Aug. 19 - 25; most events haven't been announced yet, but the week will include Bike and Brew Fest on Aug. 24.
Bike and Brew Fest, set for 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Central Park, will include "live music from Tha Dirt Feeling, Elements of Soul and The Silent Comedy, food from local eateries, pourings from 10 wineries and over 50 breweries, a kids’ zone and designated driver options," according to a press release. That event benefits the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame in Davis.
Tickets for that event are $30 until Aug. 1; tickets are $40 if purchased from Aug. 1 to Aug. 23; day-of tickets are $45. VIP tickets including food are $60 and designated driver tickets are $10.
