Hey Davis, What Issues Do You Want to Talk About in 2013?

Tell us what you want us to cover in the comments below, and share this story with your friends and family in town.

Now that the holidays are behind us, we want to take a moment to look forward at 2013 to see what we should be covering.

Us editors took a bit of time off during the holidays to relax with family and recharge our batteries, but now we’re back, and we really want you to guide our coverage going forward.

So Davis, what should we be covering in 2013? Whether it’s a simple news tip or a broad issue or subject, please tell us what local issues you want to discuss in the months that lie ahead.

The three of us (Justin, Cody and Josh) are here to converse with you in the comments below this article.

We don't have the ability to cover everything in town, so we want your help in allocating our energy toward things you want to read about. Feel free to tell us why your suggested issue is important.

Continue what you're doing... the safety-oriented alerts are good, as is the water project, and managing unfunded liabilities. My interests also include announcements of upcoming art exhibits, performances, readings, and lectures. And anything that gets people out of their cars and on to bicycles.

Get rid of Prop 13 - fair property taxes for everyone and funding for schools etc.

Report on the police blotter. The Enterprise never reports crime in Davis. Put some sunshine on whats really going down.

Hey More Biking, If Prop 13 was revoked, far too many senior citizens on fixed incomes would be forced out of their homes. Many of those folks are barely hanging on now. A change in Prop 13 will be a absolute disaster for them. The Prop was designed to help keep people in their homes, not force them out.
