New Belgium Needs Volunteers for Clips of Faith

All proceeds of the event are donated to help bicycling advocacy and community building efforts in Davis.

The Davis Bike Collective and Davis Bicycles! are working with New Belgium Brewing Co. this year to bring Clips of Faith to Davis on Friday, July 22 from 7:30-10 pm at Central Park.

Clips of Faith is an evening of beer tasting and short films that travels to cities across the United States. New Belgium brings out their Lips of Faith beer collection along with classic favorites such as Fat Tire and 1554 and shows a collection of films that have been submitted to their film contest.

New Belgium works directly with local organizations promoting bicycling and all the proceeds of the event are donated to help bicycling advocacy and community building efforts in the host town. Last year’s event raised more than $4,000 for bicycling efforts in Davis and had more attendees than any other city in on the tour.

They want to do it again, but they still need help. Clips of Faith needs about 70 (they are not quite halfway there) volunteers for this year’s event to do things like serve beer, check IDs and put bracelets on people, sell tokens, man booths and help with set up and help with clean-up.

They still need many beer servers, and as many TIPS-certified volunteers as possible. TIPS training is required for volunteers to serve beer and can be done online. Certification costs will be reimbursed by New Belgium.
