Today in Davis: Night Swimming, Family Trivia & Ugly Dogs

Just because the brutal heat is temporarily behind us doesn’t mean it’s time to start shunning the pools that treated us so well during last week’s 100-degree spell.

And if you’re a lover of swimming, then you already know about the tranquil joy of the late-evening pool session. Spike that tranquility with some rowdy, family trivia tonight at from 7:15-9pm. It’ll be “a great night with swimming, music, trivia and more.”

Over the weekend: The New York Senate voted to approve gay marriage in a 36-26 vote Friday, making it the sixth (and largest) state to allow same-sex couple to marry.
