Today in Davis: Original Sin at the Avid Reader

Local author Beth McMullen will read from her novel Original Sin: A Sally Sin Adventure at the Avid Reader tonight from 7:30-9:30pm.

The story follows Sally Sin (whose actual name is Lucy Parks Hamilton). Sally is married to the man of her dreams and has a precocious child named Theo, according to seattlepi.com. But her career working for the US Agency for Weapons of Mass Destruction has left her paranoid, to the point that she often spends days staring at the door of her son’s preschool. 

McMullen will explore the character further at tonight's reading.
