World's Longest Bicycle Parade: Breaking the Guinness Record

The October 2 attempt will also raise money for the Davis Schools Foundation.

If Davis is the City of Bicycles, it’s only fitting that we own this record, right? Especially if we can make some money for the Davis Schools Foundation in the process.

Davis will make its attempt at the record on Sunday, October 2, starting at 10:02 am at the Davis . Registration closes at 6 pm the night before.

There will be live music in during the 4-mile ride. Crow Canyon, a young band from Davis, will play upbeat classic rock along the lines of The Who and The Ramones as well as some harder rock like Green Day and the Foo Fighters. Classic rock band Marsellus’ Briefcase will play a blen of rock, funk and dance music and the headliner, , will follow them up.
