If you want a chance to fill in for Bob Dunning as a Davis Enterprise columnist for a day, you’re running out of time to submit your best work. The deadline for the contest is midnight on September 3 and Dunning said that quality entries have been pouring in lately.
“In the past week alone, I’ve been flooded with incredible essays from around the globe,” he said in a recent column. “It’s not too late for you, too, to toss your best work in the ring. The competition is fierce, but the rewards many.”
One of our Davis Patch bloggers, Michael Ann Riley, was featured in the Enterprise’s contest last year for a about curse words.
If you’d like to replace Dunning for a day, send your entry to bdunning@davisenterprise.net.
If you're a local who loves to write, perhaps you'd enjoy blogging on Davis Patch as well. Publication is just a couple of clicks away.
