Fans of Michael Panush‘s unique brand of “zombie noir” pulp and steampunk marvels – such as his recently released novel, “Dinosaur Jazz” – will be pleased to know that the young Sacramento, CA author has announced his speaking schedule for the late summer and early fall of 2012.
The first opportunity to meet Mr. Panush in the flesh comes courtesy of The Avid Reader in Davis, CA. (617 2nd St, Davis, California 95616-4620). The event will be hosted on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 7:30pm PDT. All readers, new and old, are welcome to stop by and hear Michael discuss literature, Jazz Age, and dinosaurs – not to mention read from “Dinosaur Jazz” and hand out signed copies of the work.
Refreshments will be provided as Michael reads, and answers questions about the 1920′s noir era that inspired his writing, dinosaurs, and more.
Dinosaur Jazz was published on June 13, 2012 by Curiosity Quills Press and can be best summed up as “Jazz Age meets the Mesozoic Age” – cave men, gangsters, hunters, zeppelins, pirates, warlords and dinosaurs all clash for a chance of survival on Acheron Island. Dinosaur Jazz is a true tale of high adventure in a prehistoric world.
