July 5th Thursday Live! Bill Scholer returns from Japan to release his solo CD Haunted Highway.
Thursday Live! is sponsored by the Davis Odd Fellows and is held the first Thursday of each month at the Davis Odd Fellows Hall located at 415 2nd Street. The show starts at 7:30, is free and open to all ages.
Waiting for Bruce features Bill Scholer on guitar and singing a wonderful mix of old, new, original, and cover, blues based songs. Rounding out the band are Steve O’Neill (Yolo Mambo), Jeff Devine (!Akimbo) on drums; Kurt Roggli (!Akimbo and Biscuits ‘N Honey) on guitar, Jeff Simons (!Akimbo) on bass, and Ron Cowden also on bass (Biscuits N’ Honey and Elvis and the E-Men). Waiting for Bruce has lots to offer any music lover.
