There's a Surprise Show at the Old Dimple Records Location Sunday Night

This is a surprise show. Doors open right after the Super Bowl.

A surprise show was announced by the Davis Live Music Collective this week. It'll happen at the old Dimple Records location on F Street, right after the Super Bowl ends on Sunday. The cost is $5, and all ages are welcome.

Here are the bands:

  • Tha Dirt Feelin
  • Boca do Rio
  • West Nile Ramblers
  • Alicia Murphy

"With only a few days left until the event, we hope you help spread the word with us," it says on the Facebook event page. "This space used to be a music venue and we have a unique opportunity to rock the foundation and rejuvenate its soul."

131 people had RSVP'd as of this writing, at 6 p.m. on Friday.

Thanks, Justin. As point of clarification, this is not an "official" member event, but as with the Camper Van Beethoven show at The Lodge on 2/18, is something that is supported by volunteers of DLMC. See the Membership area here for more info: http://davislivemusic.com. See you tomorrow.

That store was once a fun nightclub in the 70s. I hope it will become an all-ages venue.
