A free Spanish conversation circle takes place at Logos Books this evening from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
El Cículo Español: Spanish Conversation Practice meets every third Monday of the month to practice Spanish at the bookstore's 513 2nd St. location. In this meeting, they will explore some of Gabriel García Márquez's short stories.
Nellie Salazar, a native speaker who moderates the group, suggests that those who attend print out "Algo muy grave va a suceder en este pueblo," "Ladrón de sábado" and "Sólo vine a hablar por teléfono." Participants will read the stories during the meeting, then discuss them.
There will be no meeting in August. It will resume the third Monday in September.
