Celebrate Davis in Community Park Tonight: Full Schedule

There will be dancers, a battle of the bands and fireworks!

We'll be in Community Park tomorrow for Celebrate Davis! Come visit the Davis Patch booth and pick up some swag! The event goes from 4-9 p.m. and will end with a fireworks show. It's at . Here's the schedule: 

4:30-5 p.m.  Cesar Chavez Dancers 

5-5:30 p.m.  UC Davis Aggie Band-uh in all of their glory!

5-7 p.m.  Dunkin’ Davis: Your chance to dunk local business, sports and political leaders

4:30-8:30 p.m.  Family Fun Zone centered around Rainbow City!

Here's the lineup for the youth battle of the bands:

  • 5:30-5:45 DNGL&A – Five young Davisites. One big mystery show… a dark horse in the running?
  • 5:50-6:20 Camila OrtizEveryone will enjoy the sweet voice and undeniable talent of this 15-year-old Holmes Junior High School student.
  • 6:25-6:50 Nat Letkoff - Singer/songwriter Davis native Nat Letkoff has just what you need to Celebrate Davis. 
  • 6:55-7:25 KingFisher Youth band KingFisher is bringing their rock’n’roll “A” game.
  • 7:30-8:00 Bad HandThink “kids these days” don’t know rock? You’ve going to be proven wrong by Davis band members Brady Corcoran, John Paul Leigh, and Quinn Bunstock.  High volume british blues and rock will be served a la Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Who, SRV, Free, The Doors and CCR.
  • 8:00-8:30 Eluminati – AltRock influences drive the full-fueled sounds of Matthias Wilken (Bass/Vocals), Jackson Vanover (Guitar/Vocals), John Greer (Guitar) and Matt Austin (Drums). These guys look tough, but tough enough to win? 
  • 8:30-9:00 Crow Canyon - A talented and energetic teen trio from Davis, these guys rock the crowd with a thumping blend of high-octane originals reminiscent of Green Day and the Foo Fighters. Their dynamic stage performance and potent brand of rock will remind you what you like about live music. Crow Canyon is Riley Donahue (Guitar/Vocals), Drew Thomsen (Drums) and Nathan Puckett (Lead Bass/Vocals)
