Clips of Faith: New Belgium's Film & Beer Fest is in Davis on August 10

New Belgium's Clips of Faith is coming to Davis on Friday, August 10. The event is a fundraiser for Davis Bicycles! and Davis Bicycle Collective. Last year the stop had about 1,250 attendees and generated approximately $3,800.  

In addition to featuring more than a dozen New Belgium beers (many of which are hard-to-find), the event will feature a compilation of winning short films submitted by New Belgium's filmmaking friends, according to a release from New Belgium. 

It's free to get in, but all proceeds from beer and merchandise sales will go to nonprofits.  We’ll have more coverage in the coming weeks, but here’s a , which on the Clips of Faith Tour. That's pretty amazing when you consider the tour stopped in places like Atlanta and Portland.

Where: Central Park

• Admission – free
• 3 oz. sample –  $1.25
• 12 oz. beer –  $5.00

Other tips:

• Food is welcome; alcohol is not (leave that to New Belgium) 
• Bring blankets or low chairs – or just lounge on the grass!
