I received this email from a few weeks ago asking if I'd like to provide some "tasting notes" on their seasonal Doppel Bock.
While I do enjoy quality beer, I don't believe I'm qualified to provide any sophisticated tasting notes. So, rather than write up a review, I decided instead to film the tasting session and let the real-time reactions speak for themselves.
In the (silly) video above, my wife and I taste the Doppel Bock during a snowy trip to Truckee, Calif. The beer is available at Sudwerk all winter if you'd like to try it yourself.
