CONTEST: The Davis Music Festival is just a few days away, and we’ve got a couple of free tickets we'd love to bestow upon a couple of lucky music lovers.
About 40 bands will play over an eight-hour period this Saturday at eight downtown venues. Tickets are normally $20, but we're going to give these two away for free. (Thanks to the DMF for passing them our way).
Here’s how to get your name in our drawing, which will happen Thursday morning:
- Share your favorite band in the comments below this article and you'll be entered to win.
The same band can be mentioned multiple times, so don't avoid commenting if you notice that your favorite has already been named. Also, the band doesn't have to be on the Davis Music Fest lineup.
Submissions end at midnight on Wednesday. I’ll count up the comments next morning and I'll videotape myself drawing them out of a hat to ensure transparency and legitimacy.
The winner of the drawing will get BOTH tickets. I'll also throw in a couple of the Patch t-shirts you see in the background of the photo above. Good luck! Comment below!
