Street Food Rodeo Friday: Mango Tri-Tip Sliders, Bacon-Wrapped Hot Dogs, Music and So Much More

The official food and entertainment lineup is now complete for the Street Food Rodeo, June 7 at 6th and G Street (near the Co-op). The Davis Dirt has rounded up an international collection of street food with more food trucks than ever before.

Here are your food options: 

• Addison's Originals (Hawaiian! - mango tri-tip sliders or Loco Moco from the Ohana menu or...)
  
• Addy's Paella (like being on the coast of Spain - paella in huge skillets right in the streets)
  
• BlissCreations (raw, vegan and gluten-free desserts - like the cowboys never dared to dream)
  
• Curbside Cuisine (kimchee dogs - South Asia, meets California)
  
• Fat Face gourmet popsicle cart (one of Davis' proud introductions to street food)
  
• Fuzion Eatz (gourmet gyros of many varieties + sliders)
  
• Heavenly Dog (bacon wrapped, habanero aioli, peanut butter - dogs like you have never had)
  
• Local Kine Shave Ice (authentic Hawaiian style shaved ice with beans and more)
  
• La Kora taco truck (fresh Mexican food with homemade tortillas made on the spot)
  
• Papa Dale's Drivin Diner (classic American diner food with a modern twist)
  
• Puros Churros (handmade fresh-cooked churros right out of the press)
  
• Preethi Indian Cuisine (fresh masala dosas, samosas & corn, south Indian style)
  
• Revive Kombucha (kombucha on tap, served from a groovy orange biodiesel van)

In addition to all the culinary yee-ha, there will be street performers to keep folks entertained in line, and live music from the Faulkner family with a caller to teach how to find the inner do-si-do. Contradances will be at 6pm and 7:45pm.

This fundraising event has been kindly sponsored by Yolo Federal Credit Union, with promotional support provided by Yelp. The Rodeo is a fundraiser for the Davis school gardens. This Rodeo's recipients are North Davis Elementary, Willett Elementary and Harper Junior High. Biking to the event is strongly encouraged. Free car parking is available in the downtown parking structures (4th & G and 1st & F).

Come for the contra dancing, stay for a Hawaiian shaved ice. Come for the loco moco, stay for the jugglers. No way to lose and a great way to have fun supporting the Davis school gardens. Free Admission.
