This week's Picnic in the Park musical entertainment comes from The Surf-Liners. Their style is described on the Davis Farmers Market website as "Classic instrumental 60s rock."
They have been providing reverb instrumental music to the greater Sacramento area since 1990, according to their website. The band started out playing covers of well-known and obscure surf tunes from the early 1960s, then progressed to performing surf-style tunes composed by the band.
Head to in Davis from 4:30-8:30. There will be plenty of local produce as well as prepared meals and beer and wine.
