Great Weather & Local Oldies Band at Picnic in the Park

The Google weather report says 78 degrees, with an 8mph breeze at 6PM Wednesday evening; paired with live, oldies rock & roll music, and fresh local produce, it sounds like the makings for a perfect picnic in the park evening at the Davis Farmer's Market.

The Davis Co-Op is proud to present, Frankie and the Fablestones, a vocal quartet, who harmonize in the doowop tradition, playing the 50's, 60's, 70's oldies, doo-wop, R&B, R&R, Soul Motown and more.

You'll hear sparkling renditions of the tunes people love to dance to and sing along with, backed by a non-stop, swinging, smokin' and jumpin' band.

Check out the band Facebook page here.

Don't miss Picnic in the Park at the Davis Farmer's Market every Wednesday evening this summer, from 4:30 to 8:30 pm at Central Park.

Shop the farmers market, enjoy live music from local bands, buy dinner from our vendors at the International Food Faire, and purchase beer or wine from Davis Soroptomists. Plenty of entertainment for the whole family, including bounce houses, pony rides by Pony Ranch Parties, clowns, face painting, Rocknasium's rock climbing wall and more.
