Davis Citizens Right a Wrong After Theft During Cross-Country Bicycle Ride for Charity

 The Davis community with help from Giant Bicycles has come together to create a heartwarming final chapter to an unfortunate visit to Davis by a cross-country bicycle rider.  Earlier in August, Alyssa Chrisman, 21, was riding from North Carolina to Santa Cruz, California (over 4,000 miles) to raise funds for the nonprofit Bike & Build. Alyssa and other riders stopped in downtown Davis to visit the U.S. Bicycling Hall of Fame and bicycle museum.  Even though her bicycle was locked to two other bicycles, her $1,500 Giant touring bike was the only one that had been stolen when she emerged from the Hall of Fame.
