Texas Hold 'Em & More

The Fourth Annual "Texas Hold 'Em and More" Tournament is coming up on Saturday, February 25, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Veteran's Memorial Center, 203 E. 14th Street, Davis, 95616.   The public is cordially invited to attend and participate.  This event is sponsored by Soroptimist International of Davis, and all proceeds benefit emancipated foster young adults.  Featured at this event a Texas Hold 'Em tournament, plus non-tournament poker, blackjack 22 and bingo.  Also available is a fabulous chance auction featuring dozens of basket full of goodies.  Hearty appetizers will be available all evening.  A full no-host bar will be open.  Cost is $65 for those who wish to participate in the tournament, and $45 for regular admission.  Western wear is encouraged but not required.  Advance tickets are available from Lea Rosenberg at (530) 756-0697 and learose@jps.net.   Tickets are available at the door, but advance purchase for the poker tournament is strongly encouraged, as tournament seats are popular and limited.
