Run or Walk to Prevent Child Abuse in Yolo County!

Lace up the running or walking shoes and come out Sunday morning April 27th to help prevent child abuse and neglect in Yolo County.  The Yolo County Children’s Alliance and Child Abuse Prevention Council (YCCA) invites people of all ages and abilities to turn out for the fourth annual YCCA Family Fun Run.  Last year the fun run had more than 200 runners/walkers doing their part to fight child abuse in Yolo County.

The event takes place at the UC Davis Arboretum in Davis.  On-site registration/pre-registration check-in and warm ups will start at 8:00 a.m. in the university parking area at 1st and A streets in downtown Davis.  Weekend parking is free on campus.  The run starts promptly at 9:00 a.m. and will wind its way in through the scenic Arboretum.  Families, clubs, and other groups are encouraged to participate, and ten tickets for the price of eight are available with online registration at www.yolokids.org/events
