A 22-year-old Davis resident crashed into a tree in Westwood Park early Friday morning. He was the only passenger in the car, which crashed around 2:45 a.m.
Here’s the Davis Police Department’s description of the accident:
When first responders arrived, it was discovered that the driver of vehicle, and sole occupant, had collided with a tree in the park. The vehicle sustained major damage and the driver, Corey Tuttle, a 22-year-old Davis resident, suffered minor injuries. Tuttle was transported to the hospital and was subsequently arrested for allegedly operating a motor vehicle while under the influence.
