Cops Seek 'Serial Exposer': Two Women Have Reported Men Exposing Themselves in 10 Days

The 22-year-old looked outside her window and observed a male suspect exposing himself. It's the second such case in ten days.

Police have responded to two calls in the last 10 days in which a man was described as exposing himself to a female. The latest was at 11 p.m. on Thursday, when police were dispatched to the 600 block of Alverado Avenue. 

Davis Police Lt. Paul Doroshov said the following in a release Friday:

A 22 year old victim was in her apartment when she saw a glimmer of light by her window. She looked outside and observed a male suspect exposing himself. After a brief period of time, the suspect fled the area on foot."

The victim described the suspect as a Hispanic male adult, about 5’11”, with a stocky build. He was wearing red basketball style shorts, a black hooded sweatshirt, and some sort of cloth covering most of his face.

This is the second such incident reported to the Davis Police Department within the last 10 days. On May 23rd, a male subject was seen exposing himself in front of an apartment window in the . That suspect was described as a Hispanic or Middle Eastern male wearing baggy clothing and a black hooded sweatshirt.

Davis Police suspect these incidents may be linked and are actively investigating these cases. We urge anyone who suspects prowling activity to call 911 immediately.
