Da Vinci Student's Car Stolen as He Stood in Front of School, Parent Says

A parent shared the following with Davis Patch on Monday.

Davis Patch received this note Monday morning from the parent of a Da Vinci High School student:

"My son’s car was very brazenly stolen this morning from in front of DaVinci High, while he was standing in this street right by it!  Black Honda Civic Del Sol, 1993, with peeling paint ... Anyone who sees it can call the Davis Police, or me at 530-219-3546. Thank you."

The keys were in the car at the time, according to the student's mom. "There had been a fender bender and he got out of the car to talk."

Description: The car may or may not have the top on. (He might have taken it off, the student said). It has an Occidental College sticker on the back window, but that window might be rolled down. There is damage to the front end, due to the fender bender right before it was stolen. The car has a loud after-market exhaust and a peeling clear coat.
