Hit-and-Run Ejects Cyclist From Bike; Driver Flees on I-80

The suspect's vehicle is described as a white older model 4-door passenger vehicle with a possible circle logo on the rear of the vehicle.

 

A bicyclist was injured in a hit-and-run on the corner of Olive Drive and Richards Boulevard Tuesady, according to the Davis Police Department.

At approximately 11:10 pm, Chisoo Song, 21 years old out of Davis, was riding his bicycle eastbound Olive Dr. proceeding through the green light at the intersection of Richards Blvd. While in the intersection, a vehicle traveling westbound on Olive Dr. made a left turn in front of the bicyclist. The vehicle struck the bicycle’s front tire ejecting Song from the bicycle. The vehicle stopped momentarily but then fled the scene and was last seen entering westbound Interstate 80. Song sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.

The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white older model 4-door passenger vehicle with a possible circle logo on the rear of the vehicle. There was no suspect description provided by the victim or witnesses.
