The Tracy Press reported yesterday that two men were arrested for an armed robbery of a local credit union. One of those men, , was on the Davis Police Department’s Most Wanted list for an armed robbery of the back in June.
The Tracy Press report says:
Tracy investigators said Shepherd and (Jarvis) Johnson have been identified as the two heavily armed gunmen who entered the Uncle Credit Union Bank … Wielding a machine gun and a handgun, the robbers demanded everyone lay on the floor, while one of them jumped over the counter and took an undisclosed amount of cash.
The had Shepherd on their most-wanted list after the Motel 6 robbery in June.
In that crime, two African-American male suspects walked into the office of the Motel 6 on Chiles Road, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. Nobody was hurt, but the suspects got away with an undisclosed sum.
“He is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached,” said Lt. Paul Doroshov in a release after the department obtained an arrest warrant.
