Sexual Assault Reported Thursday Morning in Davis

A woman was assaulted as she was leaving her apartment Thursday morning.

A woman was sexually assaulted while leaving her apartment in Davis early Thursday morning, police say.

The woman was leaving her Alhambra Drive apartment around 5 a.m. Thursday when two men forced her back inside and sexually assaulted her, the Davis Police Department said in a press release.

She tried to fight them off but was unable to, police said. She reported the crime around 12:35 p.m. that day, and was treated for her injuries.

"She described the male suspects as both being white, one with brown hair and the other with black hair," the Davis Police Department press release stated. "There are no further descriptions."
