8:41 a.m. Tuesday: Extra patrol for the upcoming week was requested for the area around Patwin Elementary School on Shasta Drive. The caller said there's been increased graffiti activity for the past few evenings.

1:49 p.m. Tuesday: A caller on Layton Drive said a man working for "Emergencyservices.com" came to her door and asked if she could open her security door for some water. Officers determined that the man didn't have a city permit to solicit.

10:53 p.m. Tuesday: At Save Mart on Anderson Road, two people said they were collecting funds for a baseball team in Sacramento, according to police. The caller told police that he started asking questions about the team, and the two became suspicious and asked the reporting party if he was a cop. Police said they were unable to locate the pair.

1:03 a.m. Wednesday: At Hortaleza Place, a caller told police that the next-door neighbor was standing on the front porch and refusing to leave. The neighbor kept asking the reporting party for his name and urinated on the porch, accoring to a report.

1:10 a.m. Wednesday: One person was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence along Russell Boulevard and Highway 113, according to police.
