Stolen Cycles: Interactive Map

Davis has dubbed itself “the most bicycle friendly city in the world,” and for the most part it’s an accurate assessment. But if you’ve ever had your cycle stolen right off its lock, you’ve surely brimmed with a rather unfriendly rage.

With this map, Davis Patch will plot every reported bicycle theft in the city of Davis with hopes of understanding where and when people’s bikes are being stolen. If your theft is not reflected on this map, please share it with us.

We began reporting thefts in June. The locations are not precise, because full addresses are not made public by the police.
