Do You Care About Political Endorsements?

Does it matter which candidate is endorsed by more organizations, residents and fellow politicians?

As the weeks and days count down until the Nov. 6 election, candidates will likely be busy touting their experience, expertise and plans if they're elected. Many candidates also highlight the endorsements they've received from labor groups, other politicians and prominent residents.

Congressional candidate John Garamendi received a big endorsement from former President Bill Clinton Tuesday, but local endorsements play a role, too.

For example: Davis School Board Candidates Nancy Peterson and Susan Lovenburg have been endorsed by the Davis Enterprise.

Do endorsements matter to you? If you're on the fence in a race and a candidate picks up a big endorsement, could it sway your vote? Let us know below.
