'How do you Feel About Those People Still on the Quad?' (Reddit)

The following question was posted on Reddit Tuesday night by a user named fasmaun: How do you guys feel about those people (I believe Occupiers) still on the Quad? Here is his/her personal response: 

I honestly feel like they need to leave, either by their own will, or by force. I wholeheartedly believe everyone overreacted to the pepper spray incident and that they have lost touch with the students' plight of class reductions, increased fees, etc. They are making our campus look really ugly, trashing everything with their garbage, and honestly, they are just an eyesore.

I think the worst thing about this is that the UC Davis administration isn't willing to do anything about it. They are breaking the law, plain and simple. I know Reddit is a very liberal community and I'm all for protesting, but I really think this has gone too far, especially with them shutting down the US Bank and having those people possibly lose their jobs and our campus losing revenue.

• They need to go, especially those that are not students or faculty of UCD and if they are leaving trash all over the quad. They are quite the eyesore. - LostRib
• They're protesting the tuition hikes... why would you want them to leave when they're representing your interests?

• At this point, while they are claiming to be "protesting", they aren't doing anything. I've not been handed petitions, or anything else. If they are writing congressmen they aren't telling anyone. As far as I can tell they are (or rather, were) just camping on the quad. - SethQ
