Interfaith Rotating Winter Shelter Begins Next Week

The shelter will rotate from site to site from Dec. 2 to March 31, and will be available to homeless individuals and families in Davis.

During the cold weather season, local houses of worship open their doors to people in need of shelter. The shelter rotates to a new church each week.

This winter's schedule and all other details are below. For information regarding food closets and other services, call the county's 2-1-1 phoneline or check the city's website

The capacity on a given night is 25 -50 persons, depending on the location, according to the City of Davis. It does not require shelter guests to be clean and sober, but they must not pose a threat to the shelter environment.
