"Taste the World" Wine Tasting Series at The Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science

Ever wondered what great Australian wines tastes like? How about South African? The "Taste the World" series by The Robert Mondavi Institute is your ticket!

"Taste the World" by The Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science is an educational series with a cause. Each presentation and tasting in our three-part lecture series features an entertaining travelogue, including a guided wine sampling aimed at introducing you to the finest wines from around the world. The majorirty of the proceeds will help increase university enrollment of underrepresented students in the Department of Viticulture and Enology, and Food Science and Technology.

Join us Friday, February 22nd, for a sampling of exceptional Australian wines hosted by David Block, the Ernest Gallo endowed chair of the Department of Viticulture and Enology. 

Australia 

On Friday, March 22nd, Andrew Waterhouse, professor and internationally recognized wine chemist will present a guided lecture through a tasting of fine Italian wines. 

Italy

Finally, on Friday, April 26th, Anita Oberholster, a native of South Africa, will present a tasting of South African wine.

  Public: $75

  Student/Staff: $60

– All Three Days: 

  Public: $200

  Student/Staff: $150
