Creek Speak - Oaks as Wildlife Habitat

Creek Speak is Putah Creek Council's six-month community speaker series about the nature, history, and culture of Putah Creek.

This month’s talk, featuring John McNerny, wildlife resource specialist for the City of Davis, will investigate oaks as wildlife habitat. Come learn how oaks, the dominant canopy tree in our area, provide crucial links in many different species’ life-cycles.

Creek Speak talks are free to Putah Creek Council members and are open to the public. A $5 donation is requested from those who have not yet joined the Council. The talk will be at the Winters Library, 7 pm.
