If You Could Spend $10 Million to Improve UC Davis…

Some of these ideas are quite smart. Others are quite funny.

A student posed the following question online last month:

This is for a project I'm working on, but I can't think of anything. We have to write up and present a proposal for what to spend a hypothetical donation on. So what are your biggest issues with the school? not enough parking? not enough classes? What are your ideas?

The above question drew about 50 responses on the website Reddit. Some of them comical, while others were serious and often times quite smart. Among them: Putting a solar farm in the non-fertile ag field, a shuttle train between Sacramento and UC Davis campuses, and even underground electric go-karts below the quad(!). And those all came from just one response.

Another commenter quipped: Wifi.

See what others had to say in the Reddit thread. What would you do to improve the campus if you had a $10 million budget?
