Measure C Passes: Layoff Notices To Be Cancelled

Nearly three-fourth of voters voted yes.

Measure C has passed, which means more than 100 school district employees who would have otherwise received pink slips will now be keeping their jobs.

The measure, which will provide $6.5 million over five years, was passed with 72.3 percent voting yes. That’s 12,435 yes votes and 4,756 no votes. Voter turnout was just under 40 percent.

You can see the breakdown of the voting in the images above and at the Yolo Elections Office website
