MLB: Three Davis High Baseball Players Drafted

Do you have any baseball memories of Ben Eckels or Cody Keefer? Could you tell they were bound for the pros back when they were playing Little League?

A couple of Davis High baseball players were drafted by Major League teams today.

"Quite a day for Davis High School with Ben Eckels getting drafted by Diamondbacks & Cody Keefer of UCLA going to Miami Marlins..." tweeted SacBee sports writer Joe Davidson Tuesday afternoon.

Eckels was drafted in the 11th round and Keefer in the 15th. Check out Davidson's blog in the Bee for more details about the draft.

UPDATE: "Michael Turay (Davis Sr./Stanislaus State) drafted in the 24th round by the Seattle Mariners," tweeted @cifsjs
