Some Popular Preschools in Davis...

We posted a story earlier this week asking folks around town to talk about where they send their kids to preschool, and why. We got some great responses from a variety of parents.

The most popular school (strictly based on readers of our poll) was , located at 1701 Russell Boulevard.

Applegate has been in operation since 1976. The school specializes in providing education and care to children 2 - 5 years old. The school has many different available programs along with an afternoon program and extended day care.

One Davis Patch reader who chimed in and rated her daughter's school in our directory was AMDavis, whose child goes to . 

“[The] school director is great and dynamics of teachers compliments each other. Our daughter can be a kid with many opportunities to enrich her life in a school setting,” said AM Davis about the school. “We are not Jewish, but we enjoy learning about different traditions and cultures and really appreciate the good exposure our daughter has.”

As we said in our original piece, choosing the right preschool is important, and since every family has different needs, there’s no one school that's "best," only what’s right for your child.
