Davis Yoga Aid Challenge for Yoga Across America

September 9, 2012 teachers from FIT House, Kaya Yoga, and Akasha are comming together for the Davis Yoga Aid Challenge. Approximately 10 teachers will lead a challenging 108 Sun Salutations in Central Park from 9 to 11 am. All participants are welcome. Participants can register for the event at: http://www.yogaaid.com/usa/venue?lid=74b0223d-c85b-4a76-9898-6e4f9dbda7cf This is a worldwide event with yoga teachers throughout the world holding challenging classes within 24 hours of September 9 to support charity. This is also an opportunity for the community of Davis to come together for a lot of fun and a great cause. All of the proceeds for the event go to Yoga Across America. Yoga Across America is a local Sacramento based non-profit that provides yoga to servicemen and women returning from war as well as to children in schools. During the 2011-12 school year Yoga Across America funded yoga classes at in town at Pioneer School.
