Davis Legacy Soccer
Adults from around Davis are invited to the club's first-ever "Barefoot on the Pitch" fundraiser on September 8, 2012 from 6 to 9 p.m.
At the event, attendee will be treated to live music, local beer and wine and delicious food from some of Sacramento’s hottest gourmet food trucks including Mama Kim’s, Wicked Wich, El Matador, Jeezils BBQ and dessert from Panera Bread.
Tickets are available online at $45 per person at davislegacysoccer.org. In the spirit of soccer penalty cards, fan's admission ticket includes $10 worth of red cards for food and $10 worth of yellow cards for beer and wine.
“The goal of this event is to showcase our facility to our community and help support the excellent work of our coaches and club leadership to offer a nationally-renowned soccer program and facility to our youth,” said event chairman Matt Bosco.
The event will include door prizes, a raffle and silent auction.
Davis Legacy Fields are located south of I-80 on Chiles Rd.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available for businesses and individuals. Proceeds benefit Davis Youth Soccer League, a non-profit 501c3 organization and will help fund needed lighting at Davis Legacy Soccer Fields
