Sixty years ago, a group of World War II veteran flyers, crop duster pilots, and aircraft aficionados incorporated this non-profit flying club, now the oldest general aviation operation in the greater Sacramento area. Today, CAFF is still meeting its original goals of providing aircraft and flight instruction at a reasonable cost.

Aircraft available for rent by members of the general public include nine Cessnas (four 152s, three 172s, one glass cockpit 172sp, one 182RG) and one Piper Seminole. Fuel cost is factored into the total rent. Flight instruction rates range from $32 to $150 per hour.
